Are you an experienced automotive procurement professional with a passion for innovation, craftsmanship, and low‑volume luxuryponents? We’re partnering with a world‑renowned automotive brand to recruit a Bespoke Buyer who will play a key role in delivering unique, personalised features for some of the most prestigious vehicles on the market.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for sourcing specialist suppliers, managing end‑to‑end purchasing activity for bespokeponents, and ensuring all parts meet the exceptional quality standards synonymous with luxury automotive manufacturing.
The Opportunity
As a Bespoke Buyer, you will:
Identify, evaluate and secure suppliers capable of delivering low‑volume bespokeponents to exceptional quality standards.
Review newponent designs and source suppliers able to deliver innovative new products.
Manage structured sourcing processes, ensuring supplier nominations are delivered on time and in line withpany procedures.
Analyse costs, negotiatemercial terms, and achieve best‑value oues while meeting design, timing, and volume requirements.
Oversee supplier performance, proactively resolve issues, and maintain strong, collaborative relationships.
Apply project management principles to ensure bespoke parts are delivered on time, to specification, and within planned milestones.
Work cross‑functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Design, and Project Management teams to support the delivery of exclusive bespoke features.
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Business Management, Procurement & Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
CIPS qualification advantageous.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder‑influencing skills.
Experience in Purchasing or Supplier Quality within an OEM or Tier 1 automotive supplier.
Proven success working in multi‑project engineering environments and leading purchasing and/or supplier quality activities.
Expertise in structured supplier selection,mercial negotiations, and automotive best‑practice sourcing tools.
Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, TS16949).
Solid understanding of NPI, automotive manufacturing processes (interior, exterior, electrical), and appropriate tooling for low/medium‑volume production.
Strong problem‑solving capabilities across cost, quality, and delivery challenges.
What you’ll get in return
Hybrid working – 3 days a week onsite
Long term contract – currently signed off until the end of 2026 with the potential to extend.
Up to £33 per hour PAYE
