Duties as EYFS Teacher: Teach an EYFS class full time on a maternity cover basis from April to July Deliver high-quality EYFS teaching using provided planning Contribute to shared team planning where required Support early literacy, phonics, numeracy, and play-based learning Maintain consistent routines and a positive learning environment Carry out observations and contribute to assessments as needed Complete pupil reports where required during the placement Work collaboratively with Early Years practitioners and teaching assistants Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise child welfare Ideal EYFS Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with EYFS experience Confident delivering EYFS lessons with no planning responsibilities Willing to complete reporting tasks if required Flexible and professional approach, with understanding that pay may be adjusted if additional duties are added Strong understanding of early years development and pedagogy Warm, patient, and nurturing teaching style Effective communication and teamwork skills Reliable, proactive, and committed to high-quality early years practice Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well-being Why Class Act?
