About the Role
We are hiring for an experienced and driven Account Manager to lead the delivery of facilities management services across a major retail account. This is a high-profile role requiring strong operational leadership, commercial awareness, and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
Supporting the Account Director, you will take ownership of account performance, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective FM services, with a particular focus on mobile operations across a multi-site retail estate.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of FM services across a large, multi-location retail portfolio
* Manage and optimise mobile engineering teams, ensuring service excellence and SLA compliance
* Act as the primary point of contact for the client, building strong and trusted relationships at all levels
* Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational efficiency across the account
* Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety, statutory, and contractual obligations
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver strategic objectives and enhance customer satisfaction
* Produce regular performance reports and present insights to senior stakeholders
Essential:
* Proven experience as an Account Manager (or similar) within Facilities Management
* Demonstrable experience managing mobile operations delivery within a multi-site environment
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across client organisations
* Solid understanding of hard and/or soft FM services within a retail or fast-paced environment
* Financial acumen, including P&L responsibility
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
