This role demands a legal professional with a robust respondent background and proficiency in both contentious and non-contentious Employment matters.
1. Advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
2. Drafting contracts of employment, policies and procedure.
3. Advising on the difference between employed, worker and self-employed relationships.
4. Drafting Consultancy Agreements.
5. Some knowledge of IR35.
6. Managing disciplinary and grievance processes.
7. Advising on discrimination and whistle-blowing cases.
8. Assisting with TUPE transfers and other corporate transactions.
9. Business restructures & redundancies.
10. Defending Employment Tribunal claims.
