Position Overview:

Major Job Functions:
* Conduct detailed inspections of machinery to assess repair needs.
* Perform standard diagnostic tests on machine components for accurate evaluations.
* Create a comprehensive list of parts and materials needed for repairs.
* Execute overhaul, repair, or refurbishment work according to the agreed plan.
* Inspect and test completed machines to ensure optimal performance.

Knowledge:
* Deep understanding of service manuals and computerized Service Information Systems (SIS).
* Practical knowledge of tooling and specialized equipment for repairs.
* Familiarity with rigging, slinging, and jacking procedures.
* Electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical fitting knowledge.
Accountability:
Ensure adherence to job timelines, maintain high-quality standards, and keep machines ready for hire. You will also be responsible for maintaining a tidy and safe working area, ensuring zero accidents, and receiving positive customer feedback.
Education and Experience:
* Background in plant machinery or similar industries (HGV/agriculture preferred).
* Apprentice trained or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality service environment.
* A valid license to drive reach trucks is required.
* Practical experience in operating construction equipment and mechanical fitting on large-scale machines.
