Job Title: Project Manager Location: Remote 2 days based in client office (Ellesmere Port) Duration: 6 months Rate: £375 - £400 p/d We are looking for a Project Manager to support our client on an infrastructure project. This role will support the project team from early planning and design through to construction and completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with local authority requirements. You will act as the client representative, coordinating consultants, contractors, and local authorities to ensure projects are delivered to programme, budget, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage the delivery of projects from concept through to completion. Act as the client-side lead, representing the organisation in all project matters. Coordinate and manage consultants, designers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle. Work closely with local authorities to secure approvals and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Oversee project programmes, budgets, and risk management. Manage procurement processes and contractor appointments. Monitor project progress, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design, programme, and cost expectations. Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and highways standards. Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including local councils, statutory bodies, and community stakeholders where required. Prepare project reports and provide updates to senior leadership and stakeholders. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Project Manager working client-side representing local authorities/councils Strong project planning, budgeting, and risk management skills. Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
