Maintenance Engineer
Location: Stourbridge, West Midlands
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm (flexibility available)
Type: Permanent
Salary: £42,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on plant and production equipment
Respond promptly to machine breakdowns, diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and materials
Coordinate maintenance activities with production operators and external contractors
Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards
Support and lead project installations, equipment upgrades, and process improvements
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineering role, ideally within manufacturing or plastics processing although not essential
Strong technical knowledge across:
Mechanical and electrical systems
Pneumatics, hydraulics, combustion systems, and instrumentation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a strong sense of ownership
