Commercial Account Handler for an independent insurance brokerage in Skipton. Salary up to £38,000 + excellent benefits.
We’re excited to be working with a highly regarded independent insurance brokerage. You’ll be part of a close-knit team of six, working directly with the Directors to deliver an exceptional service to their valued clients. The Role
You will be responsible for the servicing and retention of a varied portfolio of commercial clients, with premiums ranging from £5,000 to £100,000+.
Key responsibilities
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Handling renewals and driving high retention rates
* Broking new and renewal business
* Negotiating favourable terms with underwriters
* Processing and managing policies using Acturis
About You
We’re looking for someone who can bring:
* Proven experience as an SME or Commercial Account Handler
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
* Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach
* Confidence working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
* Experience with Acturis (advantageous but not essential)
