Business Need / Purpose of Role: To manage and coordinate the OE Control & Nuclear Projects team, ensuring they have the training and tools to generate quotations and provide technical advice to customers. The role aims to keep the team customer-focused, effective, and proactive in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities
* Supervise and prepare technical proposals and quotations aligned with company procedures and industry best practices.
* Manage communication with customers, external sales, and agents to gather market intelligence, prioritize quotations, and target competitors.
* Identify, qualify, prepare, and deliver detailed techno-commercial proposals for OEM projects in the global nuclear market.
* Meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators set by the Head of Commercial Operations, such as bid deadlines and increasing order intake/hit rates.
* Review incoming enquiries and allocate to the OE sales team, ensuring optimal manufacturing and sourcing strategies.
* Provide high-quality quotations tailored to customer requirements.
* Focus on key bids for selected key customers with input from External Sales.
* Communicate effectively within the team and with other departments and management.
* Manage team resources to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
* Maintain effective telephone communication with customers and External Sales, ensuring regular client feedback.
* Monitor and coach team productivity.
* Supervise, motivate, and lead the team, providing guidance and support.
* Commit to continuous process review and improvement through innovation and collaboration.
* Provide training for new and existing staff to ensure compliance with department and company policies.
* Identify underperformance areas and recommend or implement corrective actions.
* Perform general office administration duties.
* Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Commercial Operations.
* Support operational strategies for the department.
* Ensure all work complies with current H&S rules and TFT safety systems, aligned with the TFT duty of care document.
Measurements
* Achieve year-on-year growth targets through budgeting and forecasting.
* Execute sales plans and strategies to optimize existing and potential business.
* Recommend sales, product, and pricing strategies.
* Maintain customer relationships to increase sales and attract new clients.
* Conduct annual appraisals and mid-year reviews.
Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications
The following are essential for successful performance in this role:
* HNC/HND qualification with leadership experience in a sales office environment preferred.
* Experience in the valve industry.
* Understanding of nuclear safety culture fundamentals.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
* Effective communication across all business levels.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is desirable but not essential.
