Registered Manager – up to 44,000 per annum (pro rata for reduced hours.)

The role:
Client and operations focused, with the ability to demonstrate a high level of care, as a Registered Manager, you’ll take pride in your work to a high standard, be an excellent communicator and carry out our values and work ethics in a measured way in an interchanging environment.
Residential care home for the elderly. Part of the multi award winning including employer of the year Manor Community, providing person-centred, rehabilitative care and support to help people achieve their goals and aspirations. Our vision is to increase independence, to see outstanding person-centred practice throughout the Adult Social Care sector.
What we offer:
• Up to £44,000 per annum paid salary depending on experience, qualifications and registrations.
• Full and Part time working hours – over 3/4 days, flexible with start and finish times.

What you’ll be doing:
• Managing an established team of 25 care and support workers in a dynamic environment.
• Applying your managerial and previous person-centred care experience to ensure a smooth operational running of the home.
• Developing and further training your team to achieve their potential, in a way that is effective and responsive to each customers needs and in line with the Care Ho,e community values.
• Support each resident to live their life the way that they choose as far as they are able.
• Partner with customers, or their chosen representatives to provide an assessment of what the customer needs and what they would like to achieve from their care and support.
• Create and agree a written individually tailored plan of care and support that respects the customer’s wishes and promotes their dignity and privacy.
• Agree appropriate risk control measures to reduce identified risks. Keep care and support plans up to date, secure and up to date.

Provide the customer and where appropriate their representatives with information about the service so that they are clear about what to expect and how they can raise any concerns.
What you’ll bring:
• Experience as a Registered Manager, confident with the daily tasks of running the home efficiently and to a high standard.
• Able to work independently and in a team, with the confidence to manage self-development in an interchanging environment.
• Previous experience of Managing a Care Home within health and social care is essential.
• Elderly Care experience, either in the community or in a home setting is essential.
• Completed NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
• Working towards or hold the registration as required by CQC.
• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to speak to a variety of individuals, including staff and family members of residents.
• A full clean UK driving licence is essential, but having your own vehicle is not applicable as a company car can be provided.
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service.
As a precondition of this role, you must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom with a valid work permit. Please note we are unable to provide sponsorship
