Overview
Service Lead – Swadlincote. Full-Time, 39 hours per week. Competitive salary: £26,294.05 per year.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead and oversee daily operations across multiple services
* Support individuals to achieve personal goals and live valued lives in their community
* Supervise staff, complete rotas, and provide induction as well as ongoing coaching and guidance
* Attend and contribute to service user reviews and team meetings
* Manage and update support plans and risk assessments
* Complete audits (medication, finances, health and safety)
* Ensure safeguarding and quality standards are met
* Deliver hands-on support when needed, covering shifts including evenings and weekends
* Contribute to effective budgetary management of the service
* You’ll split your time approximately 80% on-shift and 20% on administrative tasks – with flexibility to adapt as service needs change
* You will need to be flexible and able to work various shift patterns including evenings, weekends and also cover sleepovers
About You
* A Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care (essential)
* Experience leading or mentoring a team (desirable)
* A valid driver’s licence (desirable)
* A person-centred approach to care
* A solid understanding of learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs
