Responsibilities and Qualifications
* Specialist, dynamic and motivated Band 7 Bank Occupational Therapist with excellent clinical skills and a positive attitude, committed to providing excellent holistic community‑based care.
* Work with the Barnet Unplanned Care Therapy Team, covering the London Borough of Barnet, alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic and coordinated care to patients.
* Be an integral part of the Rapid Response/D2A/NWB and Hospital at Home Service to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based occupational therapy intervention.
* Provide leadership in development and ongoing quality assurance of the service, undertaking evaluation, audit and contributing to research.
* Support service development and strive for clinical excellence.
* Experience working within a community team.
* Work as a highly skilled senior practitioner with expert knowledge, support the clinical operational manager in developing the service.
* Provide highly specialist occupational therapy care to a community‑based caseload.
* Carry out robust triage of patients referred to the team to ensure their safety and optimal pathway allocation.
* Provide leadership within the occupational therapy and wider team.
* Experience of line management and supervising others, supporting and deputising for the Clinical Lead and Operational manager of the service.
* Take the lead on service improvement opportunities, develop managerial skills, and lead audit and research projects.
