The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AML operations and investigations within

JOB DESCRIPTION:

* Support the MLRO and Head of Compliance in maintaining and enhancing the firm's AML/CTF and Market Abuse (MA) framework, policies, and procedures.
* Act as the day-to-day point of contact for Financial Crime matters, including customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), ongoing transaction monitoring, and Market Abuse surveillance.
* Review and assess suspicious activity reports (SARs) and Market Abuse alerts (e.g., relating to insider dealing or market manipulation) and escalate to the MLRO/Compliance Officer where appropriate.
* Conduct Financial Crime investigations (covering AML and MA breaches) and prepare reports for internal committees and regulatory requests.
* Ensure effective implementation of Financial Crime risk assessments (including ML/TF and MA risks) across the business.
* Provide Financial Crime-related training and guidance (covering AML/CTF and Market Abuse regulations) to business and operational teams.
* Assist with periodic Financial Crime reviews, compliance monitoring, and internal audits.
* Support regulatory reporting obligations, including SAR filings, suspicious transaction/order reports (STORs), and other relevant data submissions.
* Contribute to ensuring frameworks align with Financial Crime controls, particularly around client asset protection and transaction oversight/Market Surveillance.
* Conduct and review customer risk assessments and ensure risk ratings are appropriately documented and updated, considering potential Market Abuse risk factors.
* Oversee periodic reviews of client files to ensure ongoing compliance with AML and KYC standards.
* Ensure timely escalation, documentation, and filing of SARs and STORs to the MLRO/Compliance Officer and the relevant regulatory body/NCA where applicable.
* Maintain a register of Financial Crime breaches (AML/CTF and MA) and remediation actions.
* Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulators on Financial Crime matters when required.
* Keep up to date with regulatory developments and emerging risks relating to AML/CTF, Market Abuse (e.g., MAR), and broader financial crime.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE:

* Minimum of 7 years of AML/CTF experience, with strong focus on UK Regulations, in a fast-paced environment. Experience within Fintech industry is highly preferred.
* Experience engaging with the FCA and other regulatory authorities.
* Deep knowledge of AML legislation including the UK Money Laundering Regulations and JMLSG guidance.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

WHAT WE OFFER:

* Work-Life Balance; hybrid (1 day from home) and flexible working hours.
* Enhanced Health and Wellness Programs.
* Dynamic career growth in a dynamic and fast-growing global company.
