Are you currently a Band 7 practitioner looking for a new challenge, or a Band 6 practitioner seeking the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity to join our developing team of Liaison Practitioners, who facilitate liaison between the local acute Trust and Wakefield CAMHS.
Ideally, you will have extensive experience working within children's mental health in a healthcare setting, especially managing risk.
This role involves attending multiagency meetings to represent the service, discussing complex cases, and liaising with teams/services internally and externally.
You must have a professional registration to apply.
The service operates between 8am and 8pm, 7 days a week.

Main duties of the job
1. Work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, managing clinical work with children and families with complex mental health needs.
2. Support our partners within the acute trust and provide clinical supervision.
3. Work flexibly to support service needs.
4. Provide training to colleagues across the district.
5. Support young people experiencing mental health issues, drawing on extensive clinical knowledge and risk management experience.
6. Maintain good relationships with professionals, families, and young people, demonstrating excellent communication and engagement skills.
