About the Role
We are working with a market-leading manufacturer in the construction chemicals sector who are seeking a talented Business Development Coordinator to support their UK growth strategy.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technical sales environment and is passionate about helping innovative solutions reach the right audiences. You’ll be a vital link between commercial teams, technical specialists, and the end customer, supporting everything from lead generation and project coordination to tender submissions and CRM management.
As part of a well-established, family-owned global business known for excellence in waterproofing and construction solutions, you'll play a key role in strengthening their brand presence and market impact across the UK.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and qualify new business leads across the construction, engineering, and architectural sectors.

Coordinate meetings, CPD presentations, and product demos in collaboration with internal teams.

Maintain and update CRM systems to reflect sales activities and project pipelines.
*
Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, bid documents, and marketing materials.
*
Conduct industry and competitor research to inform business development strategy.
*
Build and maintain relationships with contractors, specifiers, developers, and distributors.
*
Track project progress and coordinate with logistics and technical support to ensure smooth delivery.
*
Represent our client at trade exhibitions, networking events, and promotional showcases.
*
Map key decision-makers and specification pathways in public and private sector projects.
*
Support distributor onboarding, technical training, and regional growth plans.
*
Collaborate on content development, digital campaigns, and communication efforts that support specification entry.
*
Monitor regulatory and funding developments in the construction sector, reporting on emerging opportunities or risks.
What We’re Looking For

A degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
*
Previous experience in business development, sales support, or coordination, ideally within construction or manufacturing.
*
Strong organisational and communication skills.
*
CRM and MS Office proficiency (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint).
*
A keen understanding of construction sector dynamics and building material trends is advantageous.
*
Full UK driving licence.
*
Flexibility to travel across the UK for meetings and industry events.

Additional Information
Training: The first 3 months will require regular travel to the client’s facility in Whitland, West Wales.
Travel: Occasional UK-wide travel required for client meetings and industry representation.
