We are recruiting a Locality Leader to work within our Motherwell Locality Support Services. If successful, you will work closely with the Locality Manager to ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred support and care packages for individuals with learning disabilities.
You will manage a team who provide support to vulnerable people within our local communities therefore you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills and experience to ensure your team feel supported and motivated to undertake their roles. You will also be involved in a range of HR tasks including recruitment and selection, training and development and employee relations matters and financial budget management arrangements.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.
A SVQ Level 3/HNC in a relevant discipline is essential together with extended experience of working with people with disabilities. You should be an effective communicator with an understanding of policies, procedures and standards in relation to disability services. It is essential that you can promote and develop socially inclusive support arrangements.
Working Pattern:
Monday - Thursday: 08:45am - 16:45pm
Friday: 08:45am - 16:15pm
Your hours will be worked flexibly 5 days over 7. Where evening and weekend working is required, this will form part of your normal working week.
