This is a great opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy swimming, love working with children, and want to teach swimming skills and water safety.
The Role
Whitlam Leisure Centre is looking for energetic, confident, and motivated individuals to join our Swim School team.
The Swim Teacher delivers swimming lessons to various ages and abilities. Successful applicants will be effective communicators with strong attention to detail.
You will need good time management and organizational skills, and the ability to work well independently and in a team. Relevant industry qualifications are essential.
Skills & Attributes:
* Energetic, innovative, and decisive teaching style
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends; empathetic to class needs
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
* Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
* Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check
* Current AUSTSWIM Certificate or equivalent
