Senior Business Analyst x 2 -IT/Digital - £600-£650 per day - Inside IR35 - Hybrid working in central London or Suffolk - 6 Months initial contract. Our client is delivering one of the most significant nuclear new build programmes in the UK, playing a critical role in the country's transition to secure, low-carbon energy. As part of this major infrastructure project, they are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of complex business and digital transformation initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to work on a programme of national importance, contributing to the development of systems, processes, and capabilities that will underpin the next generation of nuclear energy infrastructure. The Role - As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in translating strategic objectives into practical, deliverable solutions. Working across multiple projects and programmes, you will lead stakeholder engagement, define business requirements, and ensure that solutions align with organisational goals and programme outcomes. You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from early concept and business case development through to implementation, ensuring that business needs remain central to solution design and delivery. Key Responsibilities - Lead engagement with business stakeholders to define project concepts, clarify scope, and identify risks, issues, and dependencies. Capture, analyse, challenge, and prioritise business requirements, ensuring alignment with business strategy and programme objectives. Facilitate workshops and collaborate with internal teams and external delivery partners to develop and evaluate solution options. Develop robust business cases and investment proposals, clearly articulating benefits, costs, and value realisation opportunities. Act as the custodian of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring solutions remain aligned with agreed outcomes. Drive continuous improvement by applying best practice approaches to business process analysis and optimisation. Support business readiness, including walkthroughs, testing, and adoption of new processes and systems. Ensure delivery activities adhere to established governance frameworks and assurance standards within a large-scale programme environment. Skills & Experience - Significant experience working as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst within complex programme or project environments. Strong expertise in business process analysis, process modelling, and requirements management. Advanced stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams. Proven experience developing business cases and investment proposals for complex initiatives. Experience supporting IT or digital transformation projects. Strong analytical capability and experience applying structured analysis techniques to complex business challenges. Familiarity with structured delivery methodologies such as PRINCE2 or similar frameworks. Experience supporting procurement activities including RFI and ITT processes. Desirable Experience - Experience working within nuclear, energy, major infrastructure, or other highly regulated industries (e.g. financial services or critical digital infrastructure). Exposure to nuclear new build programmes or large-scale capital projects. Knowledge of architecture standards, governance frameworks, and enterprise delivery models. Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas.
