Position Summary: Senior Financial Analyst
The ideal candidate will be newly qualified from the Big 4. This role is 5 days onsite.
Role Description
This role supports the ongoing management of infrastructure investments throughout Europe. Reporting to a senior team leader, you’ll work on a broad range of finance-related functions including reporting, analysis, forecasting, compliance, treasury operations, and acquisition integration. You'll collaborate closely with both internal stakeholders and external advisors.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and interpret financial and operational performance of various assets, providing insight to leadership.
* Produce periodic financial reports, forecasts, and management reporting in line with both internal and regulatory standards.
* Prepare statutory accounts and tax filings for the European infrastructure platform.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory disclosure obligations.
* Support treasury functions including liquidity, derivatives, and capital management.
* Assist in preparing reports and presentations for executive decision-making.
* Contribute to onboarding of new acquisitions, including purchase accounting and integration into financial systems.
* Act as a liaison during audits and support audit preparation.
* Take on ad hoc analysis and participate in special projects as needed.
1. Candidate Profile
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or close to completion), ideally with experience at a Big 4 firm.
* Strong technical proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
* Solid grasp of accounting fundamentals and regulatory standards.
* Analytical and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proactive approach to workload and continuous improvement.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
