We are now seeking a Duty Manager
to join our Front of House team, a confident and inspiring leader who thrives
in a guest-focused environment and is passionate about delivering impeccable
service.
The Role
As Duty Manager, you will be at
the heart of our guest experience, ensuring the seamless day-to-day operation
of the Front of House. Acting as a visible presence across the estate, you will
lead by example, support your team, and ensure that every guest interaction
reflects the high standards synonymous with Hoar Cross Hall.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
* Overseeing the smooth running of all front-of-house
operations during your shift
* Conducting regular floor walks to ensure the estate is
presented to the highest standard
* Liaising with all departments, proactively addressing
operational challenges
* Leading and supporting reception, concierge, and wider
operational teams
Guest Experience
* Providing a warm and engaging welcome to all guests
* Handling queries, requests, and concerns with
professionalism and care
* Delivering personalised experiences, anticipating
guest needs wherever possible
* Recognising VIP and returning guests, ensuring an
elevated experience
Team Leadership
* Inspiring, coaching, and motivating the front-of-house
team
* Delivering daily briefings and communicate key updates
* Monitoring performance and provide constructive
feedback in the moment
Health & Safety
* Upholding all health, safety, and security procedures
* Acting confidently and efficiently in emergency
situations
* Conducting regular safety and fire checks during your
shift
Administration &
Communication
* Supporting peak-time operations including check-in and
check-out
* Maintaining accurate shift logs and incident reports
* Reviewing guest feedback and contribute to continuous
improvement
* Working closely with the Front of House Manager to
report on performance
About You
* Have previous supervisory experience within a luxury
hospitality or spa environment
* Be a natural leader with strong communication and
interpersonal skills
* Have a passion for delivering exceptional guest service
* Be calm, confident, and solutions-focused under
pressure
* Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and peak
periods
* Have experience with hotel systems is advantageous

Full flexibility is key as you will be expected
to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business
