SRG is partnering with a global leader in chemical manufacturing to recruit a number of QC Analysts for their busy and dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a renowned name in the industry and contribute to high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
These roles are 12-18 month contracts with possibility for extension. There is a shift position and standard day roles available.
The shift role involves day and night shift work as well as some weekends so you must be comfortable working these hours.
The day shift roles involve normal Mon-Fri working hours.
The Role
1. Perform high-throughput QC analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
2. Conduct analytical testing using HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and other wet chemistry techniques
3. Carry out swabbing and hygiene monitoring across the plant
4. Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards
5. Analyse and interpret results accurately
6. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
7. Collaborate effectively within a team environment
Requirements
8. HND or degree in a relevant scientific discipline (or equivalent experience)
9. Hands-on experience with HPLC and/or GC is essential
10. Proven track record in HPLC, LC-MS, or GC analysis within an industrial setting preferred
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
12. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
