Unmanned Systems Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Business Unit Director and engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide Systems‑Level Engineering and Systems Integration expertise within DTC’s Unmanned Systems business.
* Develop bespoke solutions tailored to customer requirements, leveraging both DTC and third‑party technologies as appropriate.
* Lead the preparation of bids and technical proposals, including cost estimation and contributions to commercial proposals.
* Regularly engage in customer‑facing scenarios, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Maintain a strong background in and passion for Unmanned Systems across air, land, or sea domains.
* Have a solid understanding of modern wireless communication technologies, including IP Mesh systems.
* Be proficient in engineering of wireless systems.
* Be skilled in systems engineering and end‑to‑end system design.
* Possess experience in bid development, cost estimation, and technical proposal writing.
* Be commercially astute with proven success in customer‑facing roles.

Brings a proven track record of influencing and supporting cross‑functional engineering teams, with a strong emphasis on coaching, mentoring, and inspiring technical professionals.
Communicates complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, fostering collaboration across all levels of the organization.
Has expertise in electronic hardware and wireless systems design, aligns technical strategies with broader business objectives, and is prepared to undergo Security Screening to 'SC' level.
