The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an experienced Electrical System Radio Frequency Engineer – Flight Sim Labs, in Berkeley, MO.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements in collaboration with customers.
2. Translate requirements into system, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications.
3. Test and validate systems to ensure they meet operational and functional requirements.
4. Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance.
5. Provide support for fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
6. Research technological advances for potential application to company needs.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed locations.
This role requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). A clearance active within the past 24 months is considered valid.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* Level 3: 5+ years of related experience or a Master’s degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with relevant experience.
* Experience with Radio Frequency and/or Antenna Systems design.
* Experience with rooftop antenna systems.
* Project management experience.
* Knowledge of Radio Frequency compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Radar systems.
* Experience handling Electrostatic Sensitive Devices (ESD) hardware.
* Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
* Strong communication skills.
* Quick learner and adaptable to new technologies and processes.
* Willingness to work in a lab environment with mechanical tools and equipment.
* Experience in technical problem investigation and resolution.

* Salary range for Level 3: $96,050 - $129,950.
