Job Title: Head of Marketing

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and motivated Head of Marketing to join our management team at the Optical Express Group to take ownership of our healthcare brands.
The Head of Marketing will manage and mentor our in-house marketing team to foster a high performance culture, whilst leading the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that enhances awareness, drives engagement, and supports business growth across our healthcare brands. This role will be pivotal in positioning our group of companies as leaders in their sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with our brands goals.
2. Lead integrated campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
3. Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing with business development, and service delivery.
4. Lead and deliver the full marketing strategy, including execution of brand plans
5. Strengthen brand presence and accelerate digital growth across brands and products
6. Oversee the full marketing mix with emphasis on digital performance, brand development, customer engagement, and demand generation
7. Manage, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team
8. Deliver impactful, insight-led campaigns aligned to commercial goals
9. Work cross-functionally with product, sales, and communications teams.
10. Manage external agencies and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
11. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy.
12. Track KPIs and ROI across campaigns and channels.
13. Prepare reports and forecasts for senior management.
Essential Skills & Experience
14. A minimum of 5 years in a senior marketing or leadership position, ideally within healthcare or related sectors.
15. Strong experience in digital marketing and integrated campaign management.
16. Proven experience managing and developing direct reports and/or scaling teams
17. Expertise in brand strategy, brand building and performance growth.
18. Excellent communication, interpersonal and project management skills.
19. Batchelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
