They are seeking a hardworking and highly skilled Fire / Smoke Damper Remedial Technician. You will be inspecting and testing Smoke and Fire Dampers and performing remedial duties as required. Experience / Qualifications: - Strong experience working as a Fire / Smoke Damper Remedial Engineer - Will hold the Fire Damper Testing ticket - Excellent technical knowledge, including: BS9999 guidelines - Open to travel when required - Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills - Hardworking attitude The Role: - Attending a range of client sites to inspect, test and carry out remedial duties on Fire / Smoke Dampers - Cleaning existing systems and ensuring they are in good working order - Installing of access doors - Remedial duties, such as: TEK screws, changing links and collars - Making recommendations for remedial duties - Keeping an accurate log of works undertaken and collating detailed technical reports - Meeting with clients to provide updates on projects - Working in line with HSE guidelines - Maintaining excellent levels of service Alternative Job titles: Fire Damper Technician, Ventilation Engineer, Smoke Damper Technician, Fire Damper Tester.
