We have been asked to recruit a Head Chef on behalf of one of the best Restaurants in Lincoln. Under the same ownership since 2008, our client is one of the areas’ leading hotels. The hotel has a strong reputation locally and has for a long time delivered consistent standards. The current Head Chef is leaving to take a role out of the area, and he has been in post for 6 years. A unique opportunity for a dedicated and committed Sous or Head Chef who enjoys creativity and can produce great food using fresh ingredients.
We are looking for a candidate with the following attributes:
* A strong, organised Head Chef who has exceptional leadership qualities.
* A genuine passion for creating and producing seasonal dishes using fresh ingredients
* A proven track record within a high volume, yet quality hotel kitchen
* Experience within a high quality banqueting hotel
* Commercially astute and able to achieve the agreed food G.P
* Someone who can develop the team and nurture the chefs within the brigade
* Overall responsibility for the production of seasonal menus across all areas of the business including Lounge, Restaurant, weddings and private events.
* Develop relationships with suppliers and ensure the best quality produce
