We’re seeking someone to join our Liquidity reporting team as an Analyst in Finance Shared Services to prepare and calculate both the internal and external liquidity and other funding reporting returns required by the Firms regulators. This is an Analyst level position within our Corporate Controllers, Reporting & Accounting Job Family which is responsible for the accuracy and control of the Firm’s books and records to produce the consolidated firm, segment and legal entities financial statements, including development, management and oversight of financial accounting & reporting systems as well as database management, including capital and liquidity reporting and external reporting functions In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm’s financial and capital resources. What youll do in the role: - Prepare sections of the daily and monthly liquidity reporting for the Firm - Develop collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders including Corporate Treasury and Technology, across different departments and regions. - Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm - Develop an understanding of Finance functional area, tools and processes - Undertake analysis of liquidity reporting data to validate, understand and provide commentary on key business drivers. - Responsible for tasks to support team deliverables, with guidance, and appropriately escalate issues to ensure timely and effective resolution - Adhere to the Firms risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls - Uphold the Firms values and hold yourself accountable to Firm standards What youll bring to the role: - Willingness to learn Finance principles, tools and systems - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a professional environment - Willingness to seek guidance and solicit feedback to further self-development - At least 0-2 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
