Role Overview:
Due to continued growth, there is an opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the team and play a key role in shaping the company’s future success. This is a key position for someone who can drive business growth, identify and secure new opportunities, and build excellent rapport with both new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships
* Work closely with leadership and engineering teams to develop strategic growth plans
* Manage a healthy sales pipeline and identify market opportunities
* Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions
* Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and delivered on time and to budget
* Attend client meetings, industry events, and exhibitions
* Represent the business professionally to clients and stakeholders
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in a business development or sales role within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
* Experience working with sectors such as defence, aerospace, or scientific industries
* Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Professional, credible, and confident when engaging with technical stakeholders and senior decision-makers
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage your own sales pipeline
