Job Description
* Oversee daily operations of construction sites
* Ensure safety regulations are adhered to at all times
* Supervise construction workers and subcontractors
* Maintain a high standard of workmanship
* Coordinate with project managers and other construction supervisors
* Attend project meetings and provide progress reports
* Manage construction schedules and deliverables
* Resolve on-site issues and challenges
* Oversee daily construction/demolition activities at the site
* Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Manage a wide range of contractors
* Oversee tasks such as drain repairs, road digs, excavations, and new pipelines
* Implement safety measures and ensure compliance with regulations
* Distribute permits
* Manage resources effectively to meet project needs
* Carry out regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met
* Provide regular reports on project progress and milestones
The Successful Applicant
A successful Site Construction Supervisor should have:
* A degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
* Proven experience in managing construction projects
* Experience managing a wide range of contractors on a busy site
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills
* An ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
* Ability to start ASAP and open to a 12-month project role
