The successful candidates will provide support to pupils in both classroom and small group settings, assisting teachers in delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment. About the school: This provision is a special school in Bridgend for pupils aged 7–19 with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties, including autism and other additional learning needs. It provides a supportive environment focused on resilience, teamwork, and individual development. Key Responsibilities Support teaching staff in the delivery of lessons and learning activities Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils as required Encourage positive behaviour, resilience, and teamwork Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources Contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment Candidate Requirements Previous experience in sporting, coaching, or similar team-based environments is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and inspire young people Flexibility and adaptability in a school setting Experience working with children or young people is advantageous Essential requirements: Relevant expierence supporting children or young people with behavioural challenges enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Registration with the Education Workforce council (EWC) or willingness to register Why join teaching personnel?
