The Company
Oscar Technology is working with an innovative software and hardware provider. With exciting plans to expand into Europe, they're now looking for a motivated Field Engineer to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who's keen to learn, enjoys hands-on work, and is confident communicating with customers face-to-face. Full training and support will be provided.
Your day-to-day will include:
1. Travelling across the UK with another engineer to install and maintain equipment (cabinets and related hardware).
2. Assisting with set-up, testing, and fault-finding under supervision.
3. Talking with customers on-site, making sure they understand what's been done and answering any basic questions.
4. Supporting with routine maintenance tasks, including running pre-written scripts and performing backups.
5. Keeping accurate notes of work completed and following health & safety procedures.
6. Occasionally staying overnight when required (all costs covered).
We're looking for someone who is:
7. Personable, confident, and happy chatting with clients.
8. Practical, hands-on, and comfortable using basic tools (training given).
9. Flexible to travel across the UK as needed.
10. Eager to learn new technical skills and progress within the company.
11. Holds a Full UK Driver's Licence.
12. Ability to communicate clearly with clients.
