Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences in our Two Rosette Restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for food and service and minimum 3 years of experience managing fine dining restaurant. As the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our guests receive top-notch service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
* Supervise and manage all restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities
* Lead and motivate a team of staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
* Oversee food preparation and production processes to ensure quality standards are met
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant
* Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximise profitability
* Train new staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service protocols
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
* Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings
* Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
Qualifications
* Proven experience in fine dining restaurant management, minimum 3 years
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
* Solid understanding of food safety standards and practices
* Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is advantageous
* Familiarity with barista duties is a plus
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers
* A passion for delivering outstanding service in the hospitality industry
