JOB TITLE: Business & Student Support Team Leader LOCATION: Cambridge HOURS: 20 per week (9.30am - 2.30pm Mon - Fri) SALARY: £13,370 - £13,838 per annum (£24,734 - £25,601 FTE) Do you have experience leading a small team or are you ready to take your first step into line management? We have an exciting opportunity for a Business & Student Support Team Leader to join our friendly Cambridge campus. This part-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a varied, people-focused role and wants to make a real difference. Our Cambridge site specialises in land-based programmes, including animal care, dog grooming and equine studies. As Team Leader, you’ll oversee the day-to-day work of a small team of two and act as the go-to contact for students, staff and visitors. From greeting applicants and supporting enrolment, to organising educational visits and helping learners return after absence, you’ll be at the heart of our campus community. In this role, you'll Lead a small business support team, managing the reception area to help to create a welcoming front-of-house service Work closely with team leaders across other campuses to ensure consistent student and curriculum support Support events, attendance tracking, applications and the coordination of educational visits and transport Play an active role in financial admin tasks and funding support for learners Enjoy being part of a collaborative, student-focused environment where no two days are the same This role is ideal for someone who: Has experience in administration or customer service Enjoys working in a varied environment and managing competing priorities Can build positive relationships and communicate confidently Wants a fulfilling, term-time role with leadership responsibility BENEFITS We offer an excellent package including a generous annual leave allowance of 30 days per year for support staff, plus five College closure days, plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part-time), fee waivers on some College courses, a contributory pension scheme with the Local Government Pension Scheme, discounts with local businesses and access to a cycle to work scheme.
