Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 PA's/Project Officers to support the Director/Deputy Directors across the wider Psychological Professions team.
The postholder will be required to provide an expert confidential, high quality, efficient and effective secretarial and administrative service to designated Directors and Deputy Directors within the Psychological Professions team so that they are able to focus on their key responsibilities. The role will require effective use of reason, intellect and judgement to make informed decisions within areas of responsibility and proactively deal with a diverse range of tasks whilst ensuring that all required standards are met.
The postholder must be able to work autonomously, meet challenging and at times inflexible deadlines, and to prioritise their workload to achieve results. Reliability, commitment, flexibility and strong attention to detail are essential to the role.
You will be part of a team with the expectation that you will be on site at least 2 days per week.
Main duties of the job
To provide a responsive and efficient administrative service to meet the needs of the team.
To use reason, intellect and judgement to work on own initiative to deal with matters on behalf of their Director/Deputy Director.
To be an effective decision maker who can prioritise own workload whilst responding to interruptions.
To be able to deal with unpredictable work patterns and proactively deal with issues without reference to with little supervision on a day-to-day basis within agreed Trusts policies and procedures.
