Job Description:

As a Patisserie Chef at Real Patisserie, you will be an essential full time member of our team, working with a range of patisserie products including mousses, choux, cakes, tarts, and more. This role requires precision, and a passion for producing beautiful, high-quality pastries that align with our standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and craft a variety of patisserie items such as mousses, choux pastries, macarons, cakes, tarts, and other specialty desserts.
* Ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of products by following established recipes and standards.
* Collaborate closely with shift leads and the patisserie chef to meet production targets and maintain exceptional product quality.
* Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in every product.
* Assist other sections of the patisserie team when needed, including making additional products such as eclairs, tarts, and other confections.
* Uphold high food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications Required:

* Previous experience working with patisserie products, especially with items such as choux, mousses, and tarts, is highly desirable.
* Ability to work well in a team, collaborate effectively, and assist in training junior team members.
* Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality patisserie products.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* A strong work ethic and a desire to continually improve and learn.

Working Environment:

* Our bakery offers a modern, well-lit, and comfortable working environment.
* Quality staff areas, including changing rooms and break areas.
* Free parking available at the bakery.
* Accessible via rail and bus links for those without a car.

Shifts:

* Shifts may include weekends, though not all weekend days.
* Shifts typically start from 6am but may vary slightly.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
