About the Role:
I am working with a growing technology-driven organisation seeking an IT Systems Technician to support both internal teams and external clients. This is a varied, hands-on role covering IT support, systems administration, onboarding, and customer engagement within a fast-paced operational environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining systems, supporting users, onboarding new clients, and continuously improving processes and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide IT systems, software, and hardware support across the business
* Own and manage the IT Service Desk, ensuring tickets are handled efficiently
* Support system administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
* Onboard new clients, including system setup, data integration, and configuration
* Integrate customer platforms with internal systems
* Deliver system demonstrations and training to both internal users and customers
* Produce reports and analyse data using tools such as Excel and Power BI
* Support customer service queries related to systems and technology
* Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
* Create SOPs and contribute to the internal knowledge base
Skills & Responsibilities:
Essential:
* Strong general IT support skills
* Good understanding of IT infrastructure and systems
* Strong Excel skills, including formulas and reporting
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Customer-focused with a professional and confident approach
* Well organised and able to work under pressure
Desirable:
* Previous IT support experience (2+ years advantageous)
* Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. Freshdesk or similar)
* Exposure to e-commerce or web platforms (e.g. online selling systems)
* Experience producing reports using Power BI
* Awareness or interest in AI or automation technologies
