Compliance Manager (Estates and Facilities)

Reed Crawley has partnered with a client who is actively recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of their compliance programme within the Estates and Facilities department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and possesses strong communication skills, ensuring compliance across various departments.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Lead the delivery of our compliance programme, ensuring all activities are in line with sector rules and regulations.
* Maintain a compliance calendar, manage evidence documentation, and oversee reviews and testing.
* Track and monitor compliance requirements and contractual obligations.
* Develop and maintain practical policies and procedures that support compliance.
* Identify control gaps, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate mitigation efforts.
* Liaise with contractors to deliver compliance testing and manage reports.
* Support the transition of systems, particularly CAFM.
* Provide expert advice and training to staff on compliance-related matters.
* Oversee Permit to Work for all necessary activities.
* Collaborate with the Health & Safety Manager to ensure compliance across departments.
* Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience and/or qualifications in compliance management.
* Asbestos P405 qualification is desirable.
* Experience working in the education or healthcare sectors is advantageous.
* Excellent time management skills with an eye for detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with team members and other departments.
* A positive and proactive approach to compliance management.
