Job Description
Location: West Sussex
Salary: Up to £22 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (40 hours)

* Machining complex components from billet using CNC milling machines
* Adjusting tooling, feeds and strategies to achieve the required finish and tolerance
* Carrying out your own inspection and ensuring parts are right first time

What they’re looking for:
* Experience with CAM programming (e.g. Esprit, Fusion, Mastercam or similar)
* Strong CNC milling background (multi-axis beneficial)
* Ability to program, set and run independently
* Comfortable working on one-off and complex components, not just batch production
* Good understanding of machining strategy, tooling and cutting behaviour
Nice to have (not essential):
* 5-axis machining experience (3+2 is common)
* Experience with high-spec or tight tolerance work
* Background in aerospace, motorsport or similar environments
The environment:
* High-value components where accuracy matters
* Modern, well-equipped machine shop
* Skilled team where everyone is hands-on and capable
* Work is varied and often technically challenging
Important:
This role suits someone who:
* Enjoys solving problems
* Takes ownership of their work
* Is confident working independently
It won’t suit:
* Operators
* People used to repetitive production work
* Anyone reliant on others for programming
Apply:
If you’re a capable machinist who can program, set and run your own work, we’d be keen to speak.
