The Role The school is looking for a qualified Music Teacher with experience teaching across all key stages, up to GCSE and A-Level. The ideal candidate will be adept at teaching both practical performance and musical theory across diverse styles and cultures. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in Music to students from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level. Developing and implementing a creative and challenging curriculum that incorporates composition, performance, and music technology. Directing and coordinating school ensembles, choirs, and bands, and organizing school performances and concerts. Providing instrumental and vocal tuition support, where appropriate, and encouraging student participation in extracurricular music activities. Collaborating with the wider Arts faculty to promote the importance of creativity across the school. Candidate Requirements To be considered for this rewarding position, you should have: A degree in Music or a related performing arts field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.
