AMJ Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for Experienced Handyperson / Site Maintenance Operative to join a rapidly expanding Business which is set to be a market leader in their sector, based in Coventry, CV6.
Role Details
Shifts: Monday - Thursday (08:00am - 17:00pm) Friday (08:00am until 13:00pm)
Pay Rate - £15.44 per hour
Start Date - ASAP
Duties Include
Adhere to safety regulations such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the site, including plumbing, carpentry, painting/decorating, basic electrics, and general DIY tasks.
Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
Assist with minor refurbishments, installations, and improvement projects.
Liaise with external contractors when required and oversee quality of works.
Carry out regular inspections and routine preventative maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and report any issues to the management team.
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Follow defined escalation process and take appropriate action relating to Safety Quality, and Delivery performance.
Carry out any other reasonable request made by management.
Proven experience in a similar handyman or maintenance and repair tasks
Good working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating, and basic electrics
Proficiency in using hand and power tools
Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, can-do attitude
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
