Weeks per Year: 40 weeks (Term-Time plus one week)
Grade/Range: Grade 4, SCP 5-6
FTE Annual Salary: £22,650 to £23,530

We are seeking a highly organised, efficient, and dedicated individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our school and ensuring a welcoming and professional front-office service. The Administrative Assistant is a vital member of our school community, providing day-to-day administrative support to staff, students, and parents, and helping to ensure that the school operates efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities
* Providing a professional and friendly first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff
* Managing phone calls, emails, and general enquiries
* Maintaining accurate records, databases, and filing systems
* Supporting with pupil data entry, attendance, and communication home
* Assisting with the preparation of letters, reports, and school correspondence
* Helping to coordinate school events and activities
* Providing general administrative support to the senior leadership and teaching teams
Requirements / What the successful candidate will have
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Be confident using Microsoft Office and data management systems
* Show initiative, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Have previous experience in an administrative or school-based role (desirable but not essential)
