We’re looking for Creative Teaching Assistants to join dedicated SEND schools across Kingston-upon-Thames. These are temporary, full-time roles with a view to permanent positions and is your chance to bring creativity, patience, and empathy to students who need it most. What You’ll Be Doing Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning needs. Provide 1:1 and small group support, adapting activities to suit individual strengths and challenges. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that celebrates each student’s achievements. Assist with sensory activities and creative interventions to help students develop essential skills. Support classroom management, including behaviour monitoring and safeguarding. What You’ll Need We’re seeking someone with a calm, adaptable approach and a genuine passion for supporting SEND learners: Qualifications: GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent). Experience: Previous experience with children or young people, especially in SEND settings. Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and an understanding of safeguarding. Desirable Skills and Qualifications Experience working with autism, ADHD, or other SEND needs. A Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant SEND training.
