Job Objectives And Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Creative Manager, the Creative Design Manager will work independently and collaboratively with the Bid and Sales teams to create customer-focused, brand compliant visual content that drives engagement and supports business growth.
The Creative Design Manager will take projects from initial brief through to concept stages and final delivery, using the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications. You will apply expert knowledge of typography, colour theory, composition, and visual hierarchy to transform complex ideas into clear, impactful visual narratives across bids, tenders, presentations and infographics.
In a consistently busy and deadline-driven function, it is essential that the Creative Design Manager is able to carry out their duties accurately, at pace and work across multiple deadlines.
Main duties
* Collaborate with the Creative Design team to create visually compelling bid documents, proposals, and presentations that support the team's objectives.
* Take ownership of design projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring that all materials are clear, brand-compliant, and visually impactful.
* Design infographics, charts, diagrams, and other visual aids to effectively communicate complex data and key messages in bids and presentations.
* Work closely with the Bid and Sales teams, stakeholders, and other departments to understand project requirements and ensure design solutions meet both creative and commercial objectives.
* Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and client-specific needs, maintaining a consistent visual style across all bid materials.
* Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Prepare files for production, both digital and print, ensuring technical accuracy and readiness for presentation or printing.
Person Specification
* Have extensive knowledge using Adobe Creative Cloud programmes: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
* Proficient knowledge in MS Office: MS Word and MS PowerPoint
* Strong experience in designing for bids, proposals, and client presentations, with an understanding of visual storytelling.
* Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency across all deliverables.
* Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with Bid and Sales teams, stakeholders, and senior designers.
* Creative problem-solving abilities, transforming complex information into clear, visually compelling designs.
* Proficiency in photography and animation is desirable, though not essential.
* A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects is required.
