Responsibilities
* Assist solicitors in preparing legal documents related to childcare cases
* Conduct legal research on childcare laws and relevant precedent cases
* Manage and organize case files, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with current legislation
* Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the legal process
* Prepare briefs and summaries for court hearings and meetings
* Support the preparation of witness statements and evidence gathering
* Assist in filing and managing court documents and submissions efficiently
Requirements
* A relevant degree or qualification in law or paralegal studies
* Demonstrable experience in family law or childcare law
* Strong understanding of legal terminology and court procedures
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Proficient in legal research tools and case management software
