Role Responsibilities
* Undertake the role of specialist nurse, using specialist clinical knowledge for decision making and clinical judgment.
* Provide specialist advice to the multidisciplinary team regarding patient condition management through assessment, treatment, and review planning in partnership with the patient and carer.
* Offer specialist advice to healthcare professionals, other agencies, carers, clients, and relatives.
* Support service development to improve practice and collaborate across healthcare boundaries, implementing and evaluating evidence-based standards, guidelines, and policies.
Requirements
This position requires PVG Scheme membership/record. If not currently a PVG member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult), an application must be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before starting in the role.
