We are looking for a Civil Construction Engineer to join our team, working for a leading EPC based in Scotland on an exciting new project which has just kicked off. Initial 12 month contract

Job description: Manage all civil construction activities related to the onshore substation, including site preparation, foundations, buildings, access roads, drainage, and utilities.
Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and resource allocation in coordination with project management and engineering teams.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient and high-quality execution of works.
Monitor progress, conduct site inspections, and resolve technical or logistical issues as they arise.
Review and approve civil engineering drawings, method statements, and risk assessments.
Manage construction budgets, track costs, and report on financial performance.
Liaise with stakeholders including clients, consultants, local authorities, and utility providers.
Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications and standards.
Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
