The Role
Keep the plant running. Fix machines when they fail. Prevent breakdowns. Support improvement projects. Work with an experienced engineering team.
You'll Do:
* Mechanical support on pumps, valves, pneumatics, hydraulics, steam, and some electrical
* Diagnose faults quickly and resolve them
* Support equipment upgrades and improvement projects
* Coach colleagues to avoid repeated mistakes
You'll Have:
1. Completed apprenticeship
2. Engineering qualifications (BTEC, ONC, HNC, or equivalent)
3. Some production/FMCG experience
4. Bench fitting, TIG welding, lathe work
