Job Summary
HCA UK is seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organised Senior Receptionist/Administrator to join its Primary Care Team in Canary Wharf. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service and typing skills who thrives in a fast-paced, corporate healthcare environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients and medical staff, ensuring smooth communication and efficient administrative support.
No two days are the same in this dynamic role, and your contribution will be vital to the delivery of high-quality care. You’ll liaise with medical secretaries, manage bookings, respond to emails, and handle sensitive data with precision and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to emails and manage correspondence efficiently
* Perform accurate data entry and maintain patient records
* Make bookings and manage appointment schedules
* Liaise with medical secretaries to coordinate patient care
* Communicate with patients face-to-face, by phone, and via email
* Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area
* Adapt to changing priorities and support the wider administrative team
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in reception or administrative roles
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Strong typing skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
* Friendly and professional demeanour suitable for a corporate setting
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare systems is a plus
