Your new companyWe have a new opportunity for a manufacturing business based near Sleaford, this business employs over 250 people across 6 sites in the UK. You will be joining a team of experienced engineers working on a 4 on 4 off day shift.Your new roleWorking as a maintenance engineer you will be expected to carry out all aspects of plant maintenance and work to a planned schedule to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the plant's production and intake systems, in order to minimise downtime and deliver business objectives. You will address any breakdowns or interruptions to production dealing promptly with any issues and escalating where necessary. An essential aspect of the role is to drive continuous improvement, reviewing current methodology and opportunities to improve the plants efficiency, safety, quality and performance.What you'll need to succeedYou will have recognised engineering qualifications or have completed an engineering related apprenticeship in both mechanical and electrical fields and be at minimum 18th Edition certified. As an experienced engineer, ideally within a manufacturing/production environment, you will have an excellent understanding of working with strict safety and quality control procedures and KPI's.
