As Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical circuitry to support our manufacturing and systems development processes.
Primary Responsibilities
* Hands‑on approach in the implementation of designs.
* Support product development of xenon flashlamp systems.
* Support existing products in the field.
* Liaise with sub-contract suppliers.
Knowledge and Experience
* Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
* Minimum of 3 years industry experience.
* Experience in electrical system design (IEC 60204-1).
* Experience in safety design (ISO 13849-1 & 13849-2).
* Experience in fault‑finding.
* Good organisation in revision control / documentation.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Experience in commissioning systems (FAT & SAT).
* Experience in high voltage design (IEC 60204-11).
* Experience in E-Plan.
* Experience in sizing capacitors.
* Experience in supervision of system builds.
* Experience in developing and trouble‑shooting PLC / HMI programs.
* Proficiency in Siemens PLC / HMI programs.
* Proficiency in ladder logic.
* Good organisation in coding / commenting.
